David Lake – View from my pillow, room 3, the Old Bank

You never know who will drop by and we were delighted to welcome well known artist David Lake to Cygnet Old Bank.

David has drawn since he was a child and says he paints what grabs him which is generally the lighting or a colour. He refuses to do commissions because it seems dishonest to him to paint an interpretation of someone else’s vision.

Whilst staying in the ‘Sterling Room‘ David painted ‘View from my Pillow, Room 3’  which can be viewed at Huon Art.
